What is Aspartame?
Aspartame is one kind of sweetener. It is 250 times sweeter than table sugar and widely used in food.
(1) It has a refreshing sweetness similar to sucrose, without bitter aftertaste and metallic taste. Aspartame is 200 times sweeter than sucrose, and only a small amount is needed to achieve sweetness in application, so it is used as a sugar substitute in food and beverages.
(2) It has a synergistic effect when mixed with sucrose or other sweeteners. For example, adding 2% to 3% to saccharin can mask the bad taste of saccharin.
(3) It has a synergistic effect when mixed with flavors, especially for acidic citrus, lemon, grapefruit, etc., which can make the fragrance last longer and reduce the amount of fragrance.

.Beverages: Carbonated and still soft drinks and fruit syrups
